Today, 2021 1/10 oz Gold American Eagle Type 2 Coins in near-perfect condition are available to you online at Silver.com.

For the all-new design on the reverse of the Gold American Eagles, the United States Mint turned to the members of the Artistic Infusion Program. A total of more than 30 possible designs were submitted for consideration as the new reverse imagery. One design, the one created by Jennie Norris, was chosen to be the new reverse image on the Gold American Eagle.

All of the 2021 1/10 oz Gold American Eagle Type 2 Coins in this Silver.com listing are available in near-perfect condition. Coins in Mint State 69 condition have full, original mint luster and a maximum of two minor detractions. Examples of those flaws include only minuscule contact marks or hairlines. These flaws must be located outside of the primary focal points of the coin to qualify for this grade. Additionally, the coins have a First Strike designation. Coins with this label were received for grading within 30 days of release from the United States Mint.

On the obverse of 2021 Gold American Eagle Type 2 Coins is an image of Lady Liberty. This design debuted on the Gold $20 Double Eagles in 1907 and was designed by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. The image shows Liberty in front-facing relief as she walks toward the viewer. With rays of sunshine at her back and a ring of 50 stars around the element, she walks forward with a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left hand.

The reverse side of the 2021 1/10 oz Gold Eagle Type 2 Coin features an all-new design from Jennie Norris. It depicts the head of a bald eagle in left-profile relief with its steely gaze and hooked beak captured in the design. The level of detail in the plumage of the bird is particularly pleasing to the eye.
