Written by Andrzej Sapkowski, The Witcher Series of novels and short stories take place on an unnamed continent, which is referred to simply as the Continent. The Continent is said to have been settled thousands of years before the setting of the stories by elves that arrived from overseas. Gnomes and dwarves were rumored to inhabit the Continent at the time the elves arrived and following an inevitable war, the dwarves moved into the mountains and the elves inhabited the plains and forests.

All of the 2021 1/10 oz Proof Gold Niue The Witcher Coins listed here are proof specimens with individual packaging. The coins are housed inside of presentation boxes and come with a Certificate of Authenticity from the mint. The gold coins are limited in mintage and come with frosted designs elements overlaying mirrored background fields.

On the obverse of 2021 Proof Gold Niue The Witcher Coins is a depiction of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is shown here in a design that was created in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley for the Royal Mint of England as the fourth-generation effigy of the Queen to grace British coins. It features the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara on her head, a tiara gifted to her grandmother, Mary of Teck, prior to her wedding to the future King George V, the Queen’s grandfather.

The reverse side of 2021 1/10 oz Proof Gold The Witcher Coins comes with an image of the witcher known as Geralt of Rivia. Geralt is shown battling a specific type of monster common on the Continent.
