From 2016 to 2021, the Royal Mint of England introduced the world to the heraldic beasts that have featured in and supported the Royal Arms of England over the past 1000-plus years. This coveted series offered 2 oz silver BU coins, 10 oz silver BU coins, 1/4 oz gold BU coins, 1 oz gold BU coins, and 1 oz platinum BU coins across each of the 10 design releases. Now, the Royal Mint wraps up the collection with the so-called Collection Coin, a singular coin with all 10 designs. Right now, 2021 1 Kilo Silver British Queen’s Beast Collection Coins are available to purchase online at Silver.com.

Coin Highlights:

  • Ships to you inside a protective plastic capsule or a Monster Box of 6!
  • Eleventh and final issue in the Silver Queen’s Beast Collection!
  • Includes all 10 Queen’s Beast heraldic creatures!
  • Consists of One Kilo, or 32.15 Troy ounces, of .9999 fine silver in BU condition.
  • Bears a face value of 500 Pound sterling (GBP) backed by the government of Britain.
  • The obverse features Queen Elizabeth II.
  • On the reverse are all of the heraldic beasts from the series surrounding another portrait of Elizabeth II.

Each of the 2021 1 Kilo Silver British Queen’s Beast Collection Coins comes to you packaged individually or in bulk. Individual coins come with a protective plastic capsule, while multiples of 6 coins ship in a Monster Box.

The Silver Queen’s Beast Collection Coin is unique in its release as a One Kilo Brilliant Uncirculated coin. As mentioned above, there were various weights available across gold, silver, and platinum issues in the series. However, One Kilo silver was previously limited to the proof range in this series. The larger format of a One Kilo coin is perfect to capture the brilliance of each individual design from the Queen’s Beast Series.

The obverse of 2021 Silver British Queen’s Beast Collection Coins features the fifth-generation portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. This design was created for the Royal Mint in 2015 by Jody Clark. It includes the George IV State Diadem on her head and depicts the Queen at the age of 89. The Queen is set against a background field that includes a guilloche pattern for security against counterfeiting.

On the reverse of 2021 1 Kilo British Queen’s Beast Collection Coins, you will also find the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty. However, this version is much smaller and is set in the central ring of the design field. Around it, each one of Mr. Clark’s 10 heraldic beast designs feature in a celebration of the collection.
