The Witcher Book Series of gold coins delivers images on the reverse of collectible gold coins depicting characters from the popular fantasy novel series. In this debut release with the image of Geralt of Rivia, the Mint of Gdansk in Poland offers up two gold coin options. There is a proof 1/10 oz gold coin with a mintage of 1,000 coins and this beautiful proof 1 oz gold coin with a much lower mintage of just 200 coins in total.

All of the 2021 1 oz Proof Gold Niue The Witcher Coins ship to you inside of presentation packaging from the mint. The coin itself is housed in a capsule and set within a presentation display box. The coin and box are delivered with a themed shipper. A Certificate of Authenticity is available with each coin, and you will also note the presence of a serial number etched on the edge of each coin.

On the obverse side of 2021 Proof Gold Niue The Witcher Coins is an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. There are two visual elements to this face of the coin. In the lower two-thirds of the field, you will find images representing Geralt’s journey, such as an ancient fiddle and a powerful lion. In the upper third of the field, you will find the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Designed in 1998, this was the fourth-generation British effigy and it continues to feature on Commonwealth coinage for nations like Niue.

The reverse field of 2021 1 oz Proof Gold The Witcher Coins is an image of Geralt. He is the main witcher from the fantasy franchise created by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski. His first Witcher tale was written and published in 1986 as a short story. The most recent release is a standalone prequel novel that was released in 2013 and entitled Season of Storms.
