The Victoria Memorial in London was planned in 1901 and unveiled in 1911, though it was not completed until 1924. The monument features, among its design elements, six allegorical figures associated with the reign of Queen Victoria and carried on into the 21st century by her great-granddaughter, the reigning Queen Elizabeth II.

At the top of the monument is the most prominent of those statues, Winged Victory. Seated at her sides are the images of Constancy and Courage. Below these, you will find the images of Justice and Truth. Charity is the final of the six and features near the base of the monument.

The obverse side of 2021 1 oz Proof Silver St. Helena Queen’s Virtues Victory Coins comes with a depiction of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is shown here in right-profile relief with the George IV State Diadem Crown on her head. The design was created in 2015 by Jody Clark and was first used by the Royal Mint of England.

On the reverse field of 2021 Proof Silver St. Helena Queen’s Virtues Victory Coins is an image of the statue of Winged Victory. Shown here in left-profile relief, her wings are flexed behind her figure and lifts her right hand high in the sky. Her left hand clutches the palm branch of victors.

These 2021 1 oz Proof Silver St. Helena Queen’s Virtues Victory Coins are offered with presentation packaging from the East India Company.
