The best way to invest in large volumes of Silver American Eagles is to purchase the United States Mint Monster Box. With a total of 500 Silver Eagles inside, the Monster Box offers a great premium for its weight when compared to purchasing 500 individual silver coins. All coins remain the same packaging as when the products left the United States Mint.

Coin Highlights:

  • Coins ship to you in a US Mint-sealed Monster Box holding 500 coins in total!
  • 35th anniversary for the Silver American Eagles!
  • Last time the Heraldic Eagle design will be struck!
  • Final mintage of just over 13 million Type 1 coins!
  • Consists of One Troy ounce of .999 fine silver per coin in BU condition.
  • Issued individual face values of $1 (USD) by the United States.
  • The obverse includes a depiction of Walking Liberty.
  • On the reverse face of the coin is the heraldic eagle of the United States.

In 1986, the United States Mint introduced the Silver American Eagle coins. The Silver Eagles were given a revived design of Walking Liberty on the obverse field and a modified, modernized image of the heraldic eagle of the United States on the reverse. Those images have never changed since 1986. However, 2021 will bring change to the series for the first time ever.

For the 35th anniversary of the Silver American Eagle, the US Mint is preparing to introduce a new reverse design for the first time ever. The silver coins will get a new image of the American bald eagle by mid-2021, making the first date mark in the series to ever feature two different designs on the reverse.

The obverse face of 2021 1 oz Silver American Eagles comes with a depiction of Walking Liberty. Designed by Adolph A. Weinman in 1916, the depiction of Liberty shown here is believed to have been inspired by a French gold coin known as the “sower” that depicted a woman walking through a field spreading seeds.

On the reverse side of the 2021 Silver American Eagle is an image of the heraldic eagle. While the US Mint will use this heraldic eagle design for initial 2021 issues, it will later be retired. This makes it the last time the US Mint will feature this design strike on the Silver Eagle coins.

These 2021 1 oz Silver American Eagle Monster Boxes are available to you with a total of 500 individual silver coins, each one in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.
