The Allegories Series started in 2019 and has proven to be one of the mint’s most popular recurring collections. Each new design release comes with a new image of Germania and the appearance of a new female allegory alongside her. Each release connects Germania and the German people to a significant culture with which the German people have deep ties, good or bad. The first release was Britannia, while Columbia was the second. The third release was the Italia design and is followed by this Austria depiction.

The obverse side of 2021 Silver Germania The Allegories Austria & Germania Rounds comes with an image of the two female allegories seated side-by-side. This depiction shows Austria on the left side with a spear in her right hand and a laurel wreath on her head. On the right side of the field is Germania. Seated next to Austria, she holds the left hand of Austria, wears an oak wreath crown on her head, and rests her left hand on the Reichsschwert, the sword of the German Empire.

On the reverse field of 2021 10 oz Silver The Allegories Austria & Germania Rounds is the mint logo for the Germania Mint. This design shows a quartered shield at the center flanked by an oak wreath and topped with an imperial crown.
