When it comes to buying silver from the Royal Canadian Mint, few programs are as popular as the Silver Canadian Maple Leaf. While most investors are familiar with the 1 oz silver bullion coins in the series, there are two other options available to investors as of the 21st century. Now, 2021 2 oz Silver Canadian Twin Maples are available to you for purchase online at Silver.com.

Coin Highlights:

  • Coins ship to you inside protective flips, plastic tubes of 14 coins, or boxes of 280 coins!
  • Fifth release of Silver Canadian Twin Maples!
  • Consists of Two Troy ounces of .9999 fine silver.
  • Issued a face value of $10 (CAD) by Canada.
  • The obverse side features Queen Elizabeth II.
  • On the reverse is the image of two sugar maple leaves.
  • Reverse-proof visuals.

In 1988, the Royal Canadian Mint issued the first Silver Canadian Maple Leaf Coins. The series has long featured only 1 oz silver options in a Brilliant Uncirculated range. In the 21st century, as the series has grown into other metals, more silver options have been introduced in the series. These include two weights over 1 oz silver.

The additional options in the range of Silver Maple Leaf-themed coins include the 10 oz Silver Magnificent Maple Leaf and these 2 oz Silver Twin Maples. The Twin Maple Series was introduced in 2017 and offers 2 oz of .9999 fine silver content. Moreover, the coins in the Twin Maples Series are reverse proofs. A reverse-proof coin has mirrored design elements overlaying frosted fields.

The obverse side of the 2021 2 oz Silver Twin Maples Coins comes with a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is shown here in an elegant right-profile relief designed in 2003 by Susanna Blunt. This is the fourth-generation depiction of the Queen to grace Canadian coins.

On the reverse field of 2021 Silver Twin Maples is the image of two sugar maple leaves. The sugar maple is the official national emblem of Canada and appears on the national flag, not to mention several other governmental emblems. In this distinct design, two leaves are connected to a single stem.

These 2021 2 oz Silver Canadian Twin Maples are available to you with individual and bulk packaging options. Individual coins are offered in protective flips. Multiples come in tubes of 14 coins or boxes of 280 coins, with the box holding a total of 20 individual 14-coin tubes.
