In 2020, the Royal Canadian Mint introduced the all-new Creatures of the North Series. While the RCM has a well-established history of striking bullion coins that feature images of animal species native to Canada and broader North America, the Creatures of the North Series goes in a different direction. Following the Kraken release, the mint now focuses on the werewolf. Now, 2021 2 oz Silver Canadian Werewolf Coins are available to you for purchase online from Silver.com.

Coin Highlights:

  • Coins ship to you in protective plastic flips, acrylic tubes of 14 coins, or boxes of 280 coins!
  • Second image in the Silver Creatures of the North Series!
  • Consists of Two Troy ounces of .9999 fine silver in BU condition.
  • Issued a face value of $10 (CAD) by Canada.
  • The obverse features Queen Elizabeth II.
  • On the reverse side of the coin is a depiction of the werewolf.
  • Created by Gerald Gloade.
  • Coins feature micro-laser engraved privy marks and radial lines for enhanced security.

The Creatures of the North Series from the Royal Canadian Mint focuses on a different kind of wildlife from the Canadian wilderness. Rather than depicts animals known to exist in the wild, the Creatures of the North Series depicts mythical creatures whose existence has been debated for centuries.

Following the release of the Kraken Coin, the mint now features the werewolf. There are two theories behind the existence of werewolves. One of those theories suggests that the werewolf is a distinct species of animal that is much larger and far deadlier than the average wolf, with the creatures particularly active at night under a full moon. Another, more nefarious background, suggests that werewolves are actually humans that transform into the hideous beasts at night when there is a full moon out.

The obverse side of 2021 2 oz Silver Werewolf Coins features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. This design was created in 2003 by Susanna Blunt and is the fourth-generation portrait of the Queen to grace Canadian coins during her reign.

On the reverse field of 2021 Silver Canadian Werewolf Coins is a depiction of the werewolf. It is shown in the immediate foreground as it hunches down on all fours and reaches out to you with one of its massive, powerful clawed hands. The design includes a dark forest in the background with a full moon high in the sky overhead.

These 2021 2 oz Silver Canadian Werewolf Coins are available to you with protective plastic flips for individual coins. Multiples will ship in tubes of 14 coins or boxes of 280 coins. The boxes hold a total of 20 tubes of 14 coins.

Where does your spot price come from?

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
