The Biblical Series of silver coins from Scottsdale Mint celebrates the designs from Gustave Dore. In 1866, he completed one of his most complex works with a collection known as illustrations for the Bible. The series brought the stories of the Bible to life on stirring wood-engravings that numbered 241 specimens in all. The series included 139 plates with scenes from the Old Testament and 81 scenes from the New Testament.

All of the 2021 2 oz Silver Jesus Praying in the Garden Biblical Series Coins are packaged individually inside Bible-themed presentation boxes that include a Certificate of Authenticity within. The coins are rimless blanks with an antique polish that helps create the appearance of old-world coinage. The coins include a unique serial number etched on the edges.

On the obverse of 2021 Silver Jesus Praying in the Garden Biblical Series Coins is a depiction of Queen Elizabeth II. This portrait of Her Majesty was created in 1985 by Raphael Maklouf and is an ageless, timeless depiction of the Queen. The image shows Her Majesty in right-profile relief wearing the George IV State Diadem on her head.

The reverse field of 2021 2 oz Jesus Praying in the Garden Biblical Series Coins comes with a vision of the moments before Jesus is apprehended by the Romans. After the Last Supper, Jesus goes for a walk to pray and finds himself in the garden of Gethsemane. Accompanied by Peter, John, and James, Jesus takes a quiet moment to pray. While the apostles were meant to be watching out for Jesus, they fell asleep. As Jesus prayed, Judas led the Romans right to Jesus and he was apprehended.
