Gold Canadian MapleGrams are a unique piece within the Gold Maple Leaf Series. All 2021 25 Gram Gold Canadian MapleGrams available in this Silver.com listing come with coins that are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. There are a total of 25 individual 1 Gram coins in the MapleGram. The coins are packaged individually in sealed presentation cards that are connected together, but divisible without unsealing any individual gold coin. The larger card is housed in a presentation shipping sleeve. There is an available assay card for each coin.

On the obverse side of 2021 Gold Canadian MapleGrams is an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. In this design from 2003, Her Majesty is featured in right-profile relief. This image of the Queen was designed by Susanna Blunt and is just the second monarch portrait in Canadian history to be designed by a Canadian artist. It is also, notably, the first effigy of the Queen during her reign to lack a crown or tiara on her head, and the first Canadian design to do so since the reign of Her Majesty’s father, King George Vi.

The reverse field of the 2021 25 Gram Gold Canadian MapleGrams comes with a design originally created in 1979 by Walter Ott. The image is that of a sugar maple leaf, the official emblem of Canada.
