From 1878 to 1904, and in 1921, the United States Mint issued Silver Morgan Dollars for circulation use. The 1921 release, though much later than the original production cycle, was one of the most interesting releases as it came in the same year that the Silver Peace Dollar was introduced. Right now, 2021 O Privy Silver Morgan Dollars are available to purchase online from Silver.com in perfect condition.

Each 2021 O Privy Silver Morgan Dollar in this product listing at Silver.com comes with a perfect certification from either the PCGS or the NGC. The coins available here may or may not have various different label styles in the slab, and we offer the coins with grades from either the PCGS or the NGC. From 1879 to 1904, the New Orleans Mint was an important producer of the Silver Morgan Dollars for the US Mint system. The mint missed the first issue year in 1878 because it had not yet reopened following its closure during the US Civil War and the Reconstruction period. The New Orleans Mint also missed the final issue in 1921 as it was permanently closed in 1909. All historic Silver Morgan Dollars had an O mark on the reverse, and these modern bullion versions from the Philadelphia Mint honor the New Orleans Mint with an O privy mark on the reverse.

The obverse of the 2021 O Privy Silver Morgan Dollar features the image of Lady Liberty. This design shows a left-profile effigy of Liberty with a Phrygian cap on her head. She also wears a coronet crown and a laurel wreath. There are 13 stars on the design field and a date mark of 2021.

On the reverse side of 2021 O Privy Silver Morgan Dollars is a depiction of the heraldic eagle. This image shows the bald eagle in front-facing relief with no US national shield included. The eagle clutches the arrows of war and the olive branch of peace. There is a laurel wreath around the image of the eagle and the O privy mark to honor the New Orleans Mint.
