There is no silver bullion coin in the world more popular than the Silver Eagle from the United States Mint. Regularly the best-selling coin with investors, the Silver Eagle has been around since 1986 and marks its 35th anniversary with the release of the coins in 2021. While a new design is available on the Silver Eagle in 2021, the US Mint first issued 2021-dated coins with the original design one final time. Today, 2021 (P) 1 oz Silver American Eagle Coins are available to you online at Silver.com in perfect condition.

Since 1986, three of the four branch mints within the US Mint system have issued the Silver Eagles. From 1986 to 1998, the San Francisco Mint struck the BU Silver Eagles. In 1999 and 2000, the Philadelphia Mint issued the coins. Since 2001, the West Point Mint has issued the coins. However, BU Silver Eagles never have mint marks. That said, it is known when other mints contribute to production and the Philadelphia Mint did just that in 2021 to provide additional coining capacity during the COVID-19 pandemic.
All of these 2021 (P) 1 oz Silver American Eagles are available with the original heraldic eagle reverse. The coins listed here received Mint State 70 grades that indicate the presence of full, original mint luster and no detracting flaws of any kind. The 2021 Silver Eagle Type 1 coin was struck with just over 13 million coins available in total before a pause in production to facilitate the switch to the new reverse design.
On the obverse of 2021 (P) Silver American Eagles is an effigy of Liberty. Known as Walking Liberty, this visual was designed in 1916 by Adolph A. Weinman and features Liberty in left-profile relief. She is shown walking toward a mountain on the horizon as the sun rises over its peak. The American flag is draped around her figure.
The reverse side of these 2021 (P) 1 oz Silver Eagles features the original design from John Mercanti. Modified in 1986 for this series, the heraldic eagle shows a bald eagle in front-facing relief with the US National Shield on its chest. The eagle clutches the arrows of war and the olive branch of peace.
