The United States Mint is replacing designs on the Silver Eagle and Gold Eagle coins for the first time in the 35-year history of the series. Since the 1986 release of the coins, the same obverse and reverse design combinations have been in use. New design elements will feature on the reverse, reimagining the American bald eagle with natural visuals on the coins for the first time in the history of the series.

All of these 2021-W 1/4 oz Proof Gold American Eagles are available to purchase in perfect condition. A coin with a PF70 certification from the NGC has full, original mint luster and bears no detracting flaws of any kind. The included UCAM label stands for Ultra-cameo and points to the stunning contrast between the design and its background field. In particular, the design has a strong, frosted finish that contrasts with the deeply-mirrored, background field.

Also included with these coins is an Early Release designation. Specimens with this label were received within 30 days of the initial release date by the NGC to be graded. Coins received by the NGC are assigned a grade between 1 and 70 on the Sheldon numeric scale with 70 representing a perfect grade.

On the obverse side of 2021-W 1/4 oz Proof Gold Eagles is the image of Lady Liberty. This front-facing relief is widely regarded as the greatest American coin design of the 20th century. It shows Liberty walking toward the viewer with a torch in one hand and an olive branch in the other. It was created by Augustus Saint-Gaudens in 1907.

The reverse face of 2021-W Proof Gold American Eagles comes with a depiction of a family of bald eagles. In the nest, a female eagle shelters a young hatchling. Overhead, a male eagle soars to the nest with a branch in its talons.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. When do I lock in my price?
