Each 2022 1/10 oz Gold American Eagle offered here comes in perfect condition with a plastic slab to protect the graded coin. Mint State 70 coins are those that exhibit full, original mint luster and have no detracting flaws of any kind present on the designs or fields of the coin. First Strike designations indicate a coin the PCGS received for certification within 30 days of release from the US Mint.

The 1/10 oz Gold Eagle has been the top-selling coin in a given year on 15 separate occasions. There were two periods in the 1990s and 2000s when the 1/10 oz gold coin was more popular than the 1 oz gold coin, the only other weight to finish with the highest mintage in a given year among the four weights. The 1/10 oz gold coin also has the distinction of holding the highest single-year mintage in the series with a total of 2.75 million coins sold in 1999.

The obverse of these 2022 Gold American Eagles features the iconic vision of Lady Liberty from Augustus Saint-Gaudens. First used in 1907 on the Gold $20 Double Eagle, this image shows Liberty in front-facing relief with the U.S. Capitol Building at her feet and sun rays framing her figure from the background. As she walks forward, she holds up a torch in her right hand and clutches an olive branch in her left. A ring of 50 stars encircles the entire design.

On the reverse side of 2022 1/10 oz Gold Eagles, you will find the new bald eagle design from Jennie Norris. Created in 2020 and chosen from more than 30 options to be the new design on the reverse, this image shows the head of the bald eagle in left-profile relief as it gazes off toward the horizon.
