On the obverse side of 2022 Silver Australian Lunar Tigers is an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is shown here in right-profile relief with the George IV State Diadem Crown. This design is the sixth-generation effigy to feature on Australian coins and was initially created for the Royal Mint in 2015 by Jody Clark.
The reverse field of the 2022 1/2 oz Silver Lunar Tiger comes with an image of two tigers. In this design, the tigers are shown prowling through the jungle. While the young cub happily follows the adult along the rocky terrain, the mature tiger is paying close attention to its surroundings to keep the young cub safe. This field of the coin has a micro-engraved security mark only visible under magnification.
