Silver Armenian Noah’s Ark Coins launched in 2011 with weights of 1/4 oz, 1/2 oz, and 1 oz silver. In 2012, the series expanded to offer 5 oz, 10 oz, 1 Kilo, and 5 Kilo silver coins. In 2020, Geiger Edelmetalle offered its first-ever gold bullion coins. Those coins were introduced in weights of 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1 Gram gold. While various packaging options exist for the silver coins, the gold coins come individually packaged in security capsules.

The obverse of 2022 Silver Armenian Noah’s Ark comes with an image of the Armenian coat of arms. The symbolism in the modern design of the national seal, adopted in 1992, brings together both imagery honoring the ancient Kingdom of Armenia and symbols from the 20th-century Soviet influence over Armenia. The seal includes a quartered shield supported by the heraldic eagle and the heraldic lion, as well as a smaller shield with the image of Noah’s ark on Mount Ararat.

On the reverse side of 2022 1/4 oz Silver Noah’s Ark Coins is a depiction of Noah’s ark. As the floodwaters subsided from God’s biblical flood, Noah needed to find out if there was dry land available. When a dove returned to the ark with an olive branch in its beak, it was the first sign that dry land was available somewhere.
