The game of Quidditch is one of the most relatable facets of the Harry Potter storyline. While we’re not witches and wizards, and cannot understand how magic could exist, much less work, we can all relate to a group of students packing a stadium to root on their classmates in a competitive sporting environment. Right now, 2022 1 oz Gold Niue Harry Potter Classic Golden Snitch Coins are available to purchase online from Silver.com.

Quidditch teams consist of seven players per side with two teams on the pitch at a time. Each team consists of three Chasers, two Beaters, a Keeper, and a Seeker. Harry Potter is the Seeker for Gryffindor House at Hogwarts. In this first match as Seeker for his team, Potter wins the game by capturing the Golden Snitch. While the teams compete to get the Quaffle through one of three goals on either end of the pitch, capturing the snitch results in 150 points and an instant victory.
