For those buying gold coins with lunar-themed designs, the market continues to evolve to offer even more designs and options with each passing year. Among the newer collections available to investors and collectors is the Rwandan Lunar Ounce Series. Introduced in 2017, it features gold, silver, and platinum options. Today, 2022 1 oz Gold Rwandan Tigers are available to you online at Silver.com.

In 2017, the Year of the Rooster brought with it a new lunar-themed bullion series. The Rwandan Lunar Ounce Series launched in 2017, at the same time as the Rwandan Nautical Ounce Series. The new collection of lunar-themed bullion initially came with 1 oz gold and 1 oz silver, with a 1 oz platinum coin introduced more recently.

All of these 2022 1 oz Gold Rwandan Tigers are available to you with an individual presentation box and a Certificate of Authenticity. These coins are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and boast a very limited mintage for collectors.

On the obverse of 2022 Gold Rwandan Tigers is a depiction of the Rwandan coat of arms. The national seal of the Republic of Rwanda features a basket at the center with a cogwheel behind it. Combined with the branches of coffee and sorghum, these elements reflect the agriculture and industry of the Republic of Rwanda. The seal also includes a sun above the basket and warriors’ shields on either side.

The reverse face of the 2022 1 oz Gold Tiger Coin features a stylized depiction of a tiger. All of the lunar designs in the Rwandan Lunar Ounce Series come with a stained-glass effect for the reverse design elements. The image of the tiger is completed with varying finishes on the individual sections to create impressive visual contrast within the broader image of the tiger on this field.
