The new Trade Dollar series by the East India Company launched in 2021 with the Chinese Trade Dollar. The British Trade Dollar is the second release in the collection. This stunning coin commemorates the historic and rare Trade Dollars produced by Britain for trading purposes in the East in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. After 1935 they were no longer minted, and in 1937 they were officially demonetized.
