The silver coins for sale from the Australian continent are not limited to the products of the Perth Mint. While the Western Australia-based mint is world-famous for its coin programs, including those focused on native wildlife species, the Royal Australian Mint also offers a range of bullion coin collections, including its own Silver Kangaroo Series. Today, 2022 1 oz Silver Royal Australian Mint Kangaroos are available to you online at Silver.com.

The Royal Australian Mint’s Silver Kangaroo Series dates back to 1993. Like many other collections of its kind, the Silver Kangaroo regularly features new design elements on the reverse of the coin to attract new investor and collector interest each year. The 2022 release is no different as this impressionist-based design is available only for this date mark.

All of the 2022 1 oz Silver Royal Australian Mint Kangaroos available here are packaged individually in acrylic capsules. The coins will ship individually in these capsules or inside sealed rolls of 10 coins, with each coin in its own capsule in the roll. Each one of the coins available here is in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.

On the obverse of 2022 Silver RAM Kangaroos is a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. England’s longest-reigning monarch, Elizabeth II has been on the throne since 1952 and is the first English monarch to ever reach the milestone of a Platinum Jubilee, an event marking 70 years as monarch. This portrait is a 2015 design that shows the Queen wearing the George IV State Diadem Crown.

The reverse side of the 2022 1 oz Silver Kangaroo from RAM features a unique image of the kangaroo. While the depiction of the kangaroo seems traditional, the physical features of the Outback captured in the background field of the coin are inspired by the impressionist school of art in Australia.
