Green Arrow is the latest of the iconic DC Comics characters to be celebrated in the DC Chibi series. Using the Chibi art style — a word that translates to “little” in Japanese — that series has consistently charmed fans and collectors alike. The venerable Emerald Archer’s classic visual design, colorful and distinctive, is perfect for adaptation to this style and is sure to make this a popular collectible.

The coin features an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II on its obverse side, joined by the inscriptions “Elizabeth II,” “Niue,” “2022,” and “2 Dollars.” Inscriptions also confirm the coin’s silver content as “1 oz 999 Fine Silver” and identify “GREEN ARROW” as copyright and trademark of DC.

The reverse side is comprised of a vividly colorized and shaped sculpture, a Chibi version of Green Arrow’s classic design complete with the signature Van Dyke beard that was first introduced in 1969. In tribute to his vast arsenal of trick and gadget arrows, he carries a green-fletched arrow in one hand.
