Coin Highlights:

  • Coins arrive in a presentation box with a Certificate of Authenticity!

  • Mintage limited to 2,500 coins!
  • Already sold out at the mint!
  • Individually serialized.
  • Consists of One Troy ounce of .9999 fine silver.
  • Issued a face value of Two Dollars from the Solomon Islands.

There are two different African rhino species, one black and the other white. The black is the smaller of the two and is also referred to as the hook-lipped rhino thanks to its unique upper lip that helps when eating trees, bushes, and shrubs. Black rhinos have a lifespan of about 35 years, and during that time they can weigh up to 3,100 pounds. Despite their name, these rhinos have dark grey color. They also have two horns protruding from their head, which makes them quite the formidable foe in a fight.
