The Texas Mint Silver Round Series is one of the most coveted and popular round collections from any private mint in the United States. These rounds have been in production since 2013. While the series initially featured static obverse and reverse designs, as of 2020, the mint has embarked on a specialized series within the series. Today, 2022 1 oz Silver Texas Mint Rounds are available to you online at Silver.com.

  • Tenth issue of Silver Texas Mint Rounds!
  • Third release in the Texas Revolution Series!
  • All-new reverse design!
  • Consists of One Troy ounce of .9999 fine silver.
  • Outline of the Great State of Texas on the obverse.
  • Texians square off against the Mexican Army at the Battle of Goliad on the reverse.
  • Suitable for Precious Metals IRAs.

In 2020, the Texas Mint Rounds Series embarked on a special series of designs. The four-round release features reverse designs that recall the efforts of Texians to break away from the Mexican Republic. The war between the two sides lasted six months, two weeks, and five days, and culminated with a decisive Texian victory at the Battle of San Jacinto.

All of these 2022 1 oz Silver Texas Mint Rounds are available to you with the latest reverse design. The rounds will be packaged individually in protective flips, with plastic tubes available for multiples of 25 rounds. Bulk purchases are available with mini-Monster Boxes of 250 rounds or Monster Boxes of 500 rounds. In both cases, all rounds within are packaged by tubes of 25 each.

In the obverse design of 2022 Silver Texas Mint Rounds, the outline of the Great State of Texas is featured with the Lone Star at its center. Superimposed over the topographical outline of Texas, this Lone Star is deeply rooted in Texas’ history. When the Republic of Texas was founded following the war with Mexico, a single white star was set upon the flag to represent the state-turned-independent republic.

For the reverse design of the 1 oz Silver Texas Mint Round in 2022, the design element captures the scenes of the Battle of Goliad. The encounter between Texians and the Mexican Army at Goliad was part of a larger Goliad Campaign that stretched from October 1835 to March 1836. The battle culminated in the Mexican Army capturing and executing all Texians involved, but just weeks later, the Texians used this massacre as a rallying cry to decisively defeat the Mexican Army at the Battle of San Jacinto on April 21, 1836.
