Right now, 2022 10 oz Silver Somalia Elephant Coins are available to purchase online at Silver.com.

Each 2022 10 oz Silver Somalia Elephant is available to you with an individual acrylic capsule. The 10 oz Silver Elephants come in Brilliant Uncirculated condition in this listing. The 10 oz silver coin is the second-largest weight in the series behind the 1 Kilogram coin and is larger than the 1/2 oz, 1 oz, 2 oz, and 5 oz silver coins.

The Silver Elephants have been available since 1999. Coins in this series have consistently offered a new design of the African bush elephant on the reverse side. The bush elephant is the largest living land mammal today, with the Asian elephant and African forest elephant being the next-largest land mammals alive today.

The obverse of 2022 Silver Somalia Elephants comes with a depiction of the Somali coat of arms. The national coat of arms for Somalia features the image of a shield with a single star at the center and a background field of horizontal lines. The shield is supported by heraldic leopards on each side and has spears with fern leaves beneath the shield. There is a beaded border around the edge of the design field on this side.

On the reverse face of the 2022 10 oz Silver Elephant is an image of the African bush elephant. The largest living mammal in the world, elephants live in family units known as herds that are matriarchal in nature, with females leading the herd. The design featured in 2022 shows an adult elephant at the front of the line with a young calf by its side. Both elephants are shown in left-profile relief with a flock of birds overhead and trees on the horizon in the distant background.
