In the 1980s, the Isle of Man resurrected the Noble as a commemorative gold bullion coin series. Now, you have the opportunity to own the 2023 1/2 Gram Proof Gold Isle of Man Noble Coins online at Silver.com.

The Noble was a magnificent and impressive gold coin that held substantial value. On its obverse side, it proudly portrayed a portrait of the reigning monarch, typically depicted in a regal standing pose adorned in royal attire and holding a scepter or sword. The reverse side often depicted a beautiful and intricate ship, symbolizing the significant influence of English naval power.

Although the Noble ceased production in the early 17th century, its impact and legacy continue to echo through time. The coin’s exquisite design and unique characteristics have inspired the creation of modern commemorative coins and replicas, ensuring that the memory of this historic English gold coin lives on.

The obverse design of the 2023 1/2 Gram Proof Gold Noble Coins features the effigy of King Charles III. This stunning left-profile relief, created by Martin Jennings in late 2022, marks the first appearance of the King in this series, making it a highly sought-after addition to any collection.

For the reverse design of the 2023 Proof Gold Isle of Man Noble Coins, the mint showcases a modernized depiction of naval power. It beautifully captures the essence of the Viking longship, a sight that struck fear into the hearts of Europeans between the 9th and 11th centuries as Vikings voyaged along the coastlines of the British Isles and Europe.

These 2023 1/2 Gram Proof Gold Isle of Man Noble Coins are available as proof specimens, exhibiting intricate frosted designs and mirrored fields. Each coin comes individually encapsulated to ensure its pristine condition upon delivery. With a limited mintage of only 15,000 coins, this is a rare opportunity to own a piece of history.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
