Queen Elizabeth II was born on April 21, 1926, in London as Princess Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor, the first child of the Duke and Duchess of York, who later became King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. Celebrating what would have been Her Late Majesty’s 100th birthday in 2026, this proof silver coin offers a commemorative tribute to Britain’s longest-reigning monarch, paired with a carefully finished design for collectors. Right now, 2026 1 oz Proof Silver Niue Queen Elizabeth 100th Anniversary of Her Majesty’s Birth Coins are available at Silver.com.

Each 2026 1 oz Proof Silver Niue Queen Elizabeth 100th Anniversary of Her Majesty’s Birth Coin is housed in a presentation box and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from the mint. The proof strike combines frosted design elements with mirrored fields, and selective colorization is used on Her Late Majesty’s royal signet for added visual contrast.

Elizabeth II did not start out as the expected heir, but the abdication of her uncle King Edward VIII in 1936 altered the succession and placed her father on the throne. As a result, Elizabeth became heir presumptive. During World War II, she served in the Auxiliary Territorial Service, training as a driver and as a mechanic. She later married Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark in 1947, and together they had four children: Charles, Anne, Andrew, and Edward.

The obverse of the 2026 Proof Silver Niue Queen Elizabeth II 100th Anniversary Coin features a portrait of Her Late Majesty. She became queen on February 6, 1952, following her father’s death, and her coronation took place on June 2, 1953. Elizabeth died on September 8, 2022, at Balmoral Castle in Scotland at the age of 96. Her reign lasted more than 70 years, from 1952 to 2022, making it the longest in British history. Over those decades, she saw enormous changes in Britain and across the globe, including the transition from the British Empire to the modern Commonwealth of Nations.

On the reverse of 2026 1 oz Proof Silver 100th Anniversary of Her Majesty’s Birth Coins is the Public Seal of Niue. The coat of arms showcases native flora at the center, framed by a ring of seashells. Resting above the shells is a Sovereign crown, reflecting Niue’s connection to the Commonwealth.

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
