Each 2026-W 1/4 oz Proof Gold American Eagle Coin arrives in a protective capsule along with a presentation box from the US Mint. The package also includes a themed outer shipper and an official Certificate of Authenticity. This release features a dual date of 1776-2026 and a Liberty Bell 250 privy mark to commemorate the nation’s 250th anniversary.

Introduced in 1988, the quarter-ounce Proof Gold Eagle offers collectors a smaller gold weight while maintaining the same design and quality standards as the larger proof coins. With one-fourth troy ounce of 22-karat gold, this denomination provides an accessible way to add proof Gold Eagles to a collection without committing to higher gold content.

The obverse of the 2026-W Proof Gold American Eagle features the renowned Lady Liberty design by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. Originally created for the $20 Double Eagle, the image shows Liberty moving forward with a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. The U.S. Capitol Building is visible in the background, framed by rays of sunlight and surrounding stars.

Appearing on the reverse of the 2026-W 1/4 oz Proof Gold Eagle Coin is the American bald eagle design introduced in 2020. Created by Jennie Norris, the design presents the eagle’s head in a left-facing profile with carefully rendered detail that stands out against the mirrored background.

Where does your spot price come from?

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
