The Royal Canadian Mint is world-renowned for setting the bar high in its production of silver and gold bullion products. Its Gold Canadian Maple Leaf is a perfect example of this pursuit of perfection. The second gold bullion coin introduced in the modern era, the Gold Canadian Maple Leaf eventually became the first coin of its type to offer .9999 fine gold content. Now, it offers investors a way to purchase divisible packages with one of the best-selling coins in the world in the form of the Gold Canadian MapleGram. Today, 25 Gram Gold Canadian MapleGram coins are available to you online at Silver.com.

Coin Highlights:

  • Available to ship to you inside of a protective sleeve with individual, connected blister cards for each coin!
  • Features an assay card for each individual coin!
  • Includes a total of 25 separate 1 Gram Gold Maple Leafs!
  • Consists of a total of 25 Grams, or .8037 Troy ounces, of .9999 fine gold in BU condition.
  • The individual face values are set at $.50 (CAD) by the Canadian government.
  • Queen Elizabeth II is on the obverse of each coin.
  • The sugar maple leaf is found on the reverse of the individual coins.

In a standard-issue year, the Royal Canadian Mint offers the Gold Canadian Maple Leaf in six different weights. These include the long-running 1 oz gold coin, as well as the fractional weights of 1/2, 1/4, 1/10, and 1/20 oz. The smallest coin in the series joined the collection in 2014. That coin is the 1 Gram Gold Canadian Maple Leaf. The Royal Canadian Mint offers it individually and in this special Gold MapleGram.

All 25 Gram Gold Canadian MapleGrams in this product listing includes a protective shipping sleeve to house the larger card of 25 individual 1 Gram Gold Maple Leafs. The 25 separate cards are connected in this packaging, but can easily be separated into their individual blister cards. The individual coins within the 25 Gram Gold MapleGram each come with an assay card and all coins are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.

The obverse side of the Gold Canadian Maple Leaf coins in the Gold MapleGram all feature the right-profile bust of Queen Elizabeth II. This is the fourth effigy of Her Majesty on Canadian coins during her long reign and it was created in 2003 by Susanna Blunt. She is just the second Canadian artist ever to design a monarch’s portrait for national coinage.

On the reverse of each 25 Gram Gold Canadian MapleGram is the image of the sugar maple leaf. This design was originally created by Walter Ott in 1979 for the Gold Maple Leaf’s debut. Both sides of the coin have radial lines in the background field.
