Like any state in the United States, New Hampshire values its freedom and liberties as granted by the United States Constitution. One of the original 13 British colonies in North America, New Hampshire was the first to shake off the shackles of British control to form its own government. Still living under the motto “Live Free or Die,” New Hampshire now has a form of currency not controlled by an outside power. Today, 25 New Hampshire Goldback Gold Notes are available to you online at Silver.com.

Note Highlights:

  • Available to ship to you inside of protective currency sleeves!
  • Third series of Goldback Gold Notes available!
  • Notes come with various years of issue!
  • Consists of 1/40 Troy ounce of .9999 fine gold.
  • The obverse features a vision of Fortitude.
  • On the reverse is a blank field.

The movement to produce spendable forms of gold again for Americans launched in Utah with a legal tender act that set forth guidelines for acceptable forms of gold as currency. Subsequently released for Nevada and New Hampshire, Goldback Gold Notes are voluntary local currency. Though not US legal tender, the note can be used to make purchases with any vendor that opts to accept the notes. In the case of New Hampshire Goldbacks, the notes can only be spent with New Hampshire-based entities.

All of the 25 New Hampshire Goldback Gold Notes listed here at Silver.com come in brand-new condition from the mint. You will find that gold notes are produced with thin layers of gold between two polyester sheets. While the polyester sheets offer protection, the gold bullion notes are housed in protective currency sleeves to ensure the condition of each note.

The obverse side of 25 New Hampshire Goldback Gold Notes features a revolutionary image of Fortitudine. The female personification of Fortitude, or courage, she is ready to lead the charge for freedom. Fortitude refers to the concept of courage. Often referred to as bravery or valor as well, courage is the willingness to confront uncertainty and intimidation without thought of the agony, pain, or danger involved. Here, Fortitude is wearing the coat of a Revolutionary War soldier with a long rifle in her hand. Her dress features the stripes of the American flag. She embodies the spirit of New Hampshire in its desire for freedom from Great Britain’s tyranny.

On the reverse face of 25 New Hampshire Goldbacks, you will find the mirror image of the obverse design. The gold notes are so thin that it is difficult to produce an image on one side without it appearing on the other side. There is no colorization or enhancement on this field of the gold note.

We also never have access to your credit/debit card details, as they are securely communicated directly to the payment processor (Authorize.net) and never retained by Silver.com. For this reason, we also don't process credit/debit card orders over the phone, as it is the least secure way to process those transactions.

In addition, all VISA and MasterCard orders undergo an additional step of user authentication - the respective Verified by VISA or MasterCard SecureCode programs. Upon completing checkout with a VISA or MasterCard credit/debit card, you may be promoted for additional details to confirm your identity and protect our customers against credit card fraud.

We are required to collect sales tax in certain states. You can review your states sales tax policy here: https://www.silver.com/taxes. You should always consult with a tax adviser for specific advice in your area.

Where does your spot price come from?

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
