The variety of gold bars for sale online range from 1 Gram minted ingots to 1 Kilogram cast gold bars. The most popular form of gold bullion for thousands of years, gold bars are still sought out by modern investors as a safe storage of wealth in uncertain times. Argor-Heraeus is just one of a handful of Swiss mints producing high-quality gold bullion bars. Right now, 5 Gram Gold Argor-Heraeus Bars are available to purchase online at Silver.com.

Bar Highlights:

  • Ships to you in an individual plastic capsule package with assay card included!
  • From the Classic series of Argor-Heraeus bars!
  • Consists of Five Grams, .1607 Troy ounces, of .9999 fine gold.
  • Argor-Heraeus logo on the obverse.
  • Blank field on the reverse.
  • Unique serial number.

Each 5 Gram Gold Argor-Heraeus Bar is individually sealed in an assay card package whether you buy one bar or several. The bars come packaged in a plastic capsule card that includes the assay information within. The black assay card features the name of the mint and a serial number for the bar on one face, and the weight, purity, metal content, and assayer’s signature on the other face. All bars are available in brand-new condition.

These Argor-Heraeus bars come from the Classic lineup at the mint. Bars in this collection are minted ingots and feature a more refined appearance than cast gold bars. Though each mint has its own approach to refining and producing gold bars, the typical process for creating minted ingots involves computer-controlled presses stamping out bars from a singular cast gold bar to create precise shapes and sizes that are then stamped with engravings.

Argor-Heraeus features its mint logo as the foremost design on the obverse of 5 Gram Gold Argor-Heraeus Bars. The design consists of a circle with the initials “AH” at the center and the full name of the mint around it. The nation in which the mint is located is inscribed below that, followed by the markings of the weight, metal content, and purity. You will also notice an assayer’s mark and unique serial number on this side of the bar.

Gold bars in the Classic series from Argor-Heraeus have no markings on the reverse field. These 5 Gram Gold Argor-Heraeus Bars are available with that same blank field. The bars are packaged in the assay capsule and cards with the reverse field lined up with the side of the assay that includes the assayer’s signature, along with the weight, purity, and metal content. The obverse of the bar is aligned with the side of the card that has the serial number to make the serial number on the bar and card visible in the same place.
