Argor-Heraeus is a major refiner of precious metals and is the world’s largest provider of services within the precious metals industry. Refining gold, silver, platinum, and palladium, Argor not only produces bullion bars in these metals, it also provides finished products to electronic and chemical industries, as well as semi-finished products for the jewelry industry. Today, 5 Gram Gold Argor-Heraeus Kinebar Bars are available to you online at Silver.com.

Bar Highlights:

  • Available to ship to you in sealed assay blisterpacks!
  • Includes Kinebar tech on the reverse field!
  • Unique serial numbers on the bars!
  • Consists of Five Grams, or .1607 Troy ounce, of .9999 fine gold.
  • The obverse face of the bar includes the refinery logo with weight, metal content, and purity inscribed.
  • On the reverse side of the bar is the Argor logo and the unique Kinebar embossment.

Argor-Heraeus was founded in 1951, but acquired in 1973 by Union Bank of Switzerland, better known as UBS. Two decades after this acquisition, Argor-Heraeus and UBS developed one of the most unique technologies you will find in use on gold bars. The new Kinebar technology embossed a kinegram on the reverse of minted gold ingots to enhance the visual beauty of the bars and add a layer of anti-counterfeiting to the bar.

All of the 5 Gram Gold Argor-Heraeus Kinebar Bars available to you at Silver.com are individually packaged by Argor-Heraeus. The 5 Gram bars are housed in capsules within the sealed blisterpack. While the capsule houses the bar, around it is an assay card. This assay card authenticates your purchase with matching weight, metal content, purity, and serial numbers marked on the card. Each one of the gold bars comes in brand-new condition.

The obverse face of the 5 Gram Gold Argor-Heraeus Kinebar Bars features the refinery logo of Argor-Heraeus. Located at the top-center of the design element, the Argor logo includes a small central circle around it. The two elements feature the initials of Argor-Heraeus and the full name of the refinery. Other markings include the weight, metal content, and purity. Each bar also has a unique serial number inscribed in a six-number code with an assayer’s stamp on the bar.

On the reverse side of 5 Gram Gold Argor-Heraeus Kinebar Bars, you will find the refinery logo used once again. This time, the Argor-Heraeus logo is the only design engraved on the bar. However, this side of the gold bars also has the Kinebar technology with an embossed kinegram that delivers beautiful, holographic imagery.
