A brand-new form of bullion available to those who buy gold, Aurum Goldbacks are available with 24-karat gold in a form of gold bullion that is actually spendable. A form of voluntary, local currency, Nevada Goldbacks are acceptable as interchangeable forms of gold that can be spent with participating businesses within the state of Nevada. Now, 5 Nevada Gold Goldback Notes are available to you for purchase online at Silver.com.

Note Highlights:

  • Note ships to you inside of an individual plastic sleeve!
  • Voluntary currency usable in Nevada!
  • Manufactured in the United States of America!
  • Consists of 1/200 Troy ounce of .9999 fine gold.
  • One of the smallest weights in the Nevada Goldback range.
  • The obverse features a statuesque image of Sophia.

Sophia is featured in the primary obverse design of the new 5 Nevada Gold Goldback Notes. According to the Ancient Greek language, the word Sophia was often used as an abstract noun that translated in many different ways as clever, skillful, intelligent, or wise. When compared to Proto-Indo-European root words for each of those Greek translations, the terms were related to the Latin verb sapere, which meant “to discern.”

The image of Sophia comes to the 5 Nevada denomination in the new 5 Nevada Gold Goldback Notes from Valarum. The Aurum Gold Notes are secure, distinctive forms of privately-issued currency that is voluntary for use. Each individual business has the power to opt to take Nevada Goldbacks as a form of spendable currency in transactions. Aurum Gold Notes are, however, not legal tender in the United States and not spendable outside of Nevada (in this case).

The obverse design of the 5 Nevada Gold Goldback Notes features the statuesque image of the Sophia figure. Sophia is shown standing on a small, marble pedestal and holds a shield up in her right arm with a pickax in her hand signifying the discoveries of the precious metals made in Nevada. She wears a Corinthian battle helmet.

These 5 Nevada Gold Goldback Notes are available to you at Silver.com in brand-new condition. The gold notes are individually housed inside of protective plastic sleeves. All Aurum Gold Notes are initially produced by layering together thin amounts of 24-karat gold between two pieces of secure, flexible polyester. The gold notes also feature high-resolution, full-color text and graphics that bring the designs to life.

5 Nevada Gold Goldback Notes are one of five new weights available in the new Nevada Goldback Series. An expansion on the Utah Goldbacks, the new Nevada Goldbacks come in additional 1, 10, 25, and 50 Nevada Goldbacks, as well as these 5 Nevada Goldbacks.
