Few gold bars for sale in the world are more popular than those of PAMP Suisse. The Swiss refiner is noted for its simple, branded gold bars and the distinctive designs of its Lunar, Rosa, and Fortuna collections. While each of these offer intricate designs on gold bullion bars, it was the Fortuna series that introduced this concept to gold bars. Today, 5 oz Gold PAMP Suisse Fortuna Veriscan Bars are available to you online at Silver.com.

Bar Highlights:

  • Available to ship inside of a protective Veriscan assay card!
  • Consists of Five Troy ounces of .9999 fine gold.
  • The obverse side depicts Fortuna.
  • On the reverse are identifying engravings from PAMP Suisse.
  • Eligible for Precious Metals IRAs!

When the Fortuna design was introduced on PAMP Suisse bullion bars it became the first bullion bar lineup to feature an intricate design on one side rather than just identifying markers. PAMP Suisse had borrowed the idea already in use on bullion coins from sovereign mints and made it a popular mainstay of bullion bars from other mints in the decades since.

All of these 5 oz Gold PAMP Suisse Fortuna Veriscan Bars are available to you today in a sealed assay card package. The bar itself is in brand-new condition and features important assay information on the reverse of the card. This includes the unique serial number of the bar, its weight, purity, metal content, and the signature and seal of a certified assayer.

Moreover, these 5 oz PAMP Suisse Fortuna Bars feature a Veriscan QR code on the assay card. Veriscan technology from PAMP Suisse capitalizes on the microscopic differences in the various bars as they come off the production line. Those differences are scanned and cataloged, then linked to the QR code on the bar to allow you to independently verify your own bar at any time using PAMP’s iPhone app or a traditional desktop scanner.

On the obverse of the 5 oz Gold PAMP Suisse Fortuna Bar is the image of Fortuna. The Roman goddess of fortune, Fortuna was also viewed as a personification of luck in Roman religion. Common design elements she has historically been associated with include a ship’s rudder, wheel of fortune, and a cornucopia, or horn of plenty. Often depicted wearing a blindfold of veil, many of these elements are present in this portrait. A veiled Fortuna sits in left-profile relief as her hands capture a wealth of coins from a cornucopia.

The reverse side of 5 oz Gold Fortuna Bars includes the PAMP Suisse logo at the top, with accompanying engravings of the bar’s weight, metal content, purity, and individual serial number. There is also an assayer’s mark on this side.
