Kinebar technology from Argor-Heraeus represents cutting-edge efforts to enhance the visual appeal of gold bars for sale, while also providing a security device. Argor pioneered this technology in 1993 and has been embossing these “kinegrams” onto the surface of its gold bullion. Today, 50 Gram Gold Argor-Heraeus Kinebar Bars are available to you online at Silver.com.

Bar Highlights:

  • Available to ship to you inside of a blisterpack with an included assay card!
  • Unique serial numbers!
  • Kinebar technology included!
  • Consists of 50 Grams, or 1.6075 Troy ounces, of .9999 fine gold.
  • On the obverse side of the bar is the mint logo with weight, purity, and metal content.
  • The reverse field features the Argor-Heraeus logo and Kinebar embossment.

The Kinebar technology applied to these Argor-Heraeus gold bars was pioneered through its partnership with Union Bank of Switzerland, or UBS. Argor-Heraeus was acquired in totality by UBS in 1973, and 20 years later the company would develop the Kinebar imagery for the reverse field of select gold bars it issues. The hologram embossment provides both visual appeal and high-security protection for the bullion bars.

All of the 50 Gram Gold Argor-Heraeus Kinebar Bars listed at Silver.com are available to you in brand-new condition from the mint. The bars are all individually packaged inside of sealed assay card blisterpacks. The bar is housed in a capsule portion of the blisterpack, while the surrounding assay card validates the weight, purity, metal content, and serial number of the bar within. The card also includes the signature of the assayer.

On the obverse face of the 50 Gram Gold Argor-Heraeus Kinebar Bars, you will find the image of the Argor-Heraeus logo. The logo for the refinery is accompanied by markings of the nation of origin for the gold bars, along with the weight, metal content, and purity. At the bottom of the bar’s design field, you will find an assayer’s mark and a unique serial number for the bars. The serial numbers on these bars use a six-number code.

The reverse field of the 50 Gram Gold Argor-Heraeus Kinebar Bar includes only one design element. The design element found on this side of the bars includes only the Argor-Heraeus logo. That logo is featured in the center of the design field.

Founded in 1951 as Argor SA, the mint now known as Argor-Heraeus was purchased by UBS in 1973. Today it is one of the world’s leading bullion producers, refining gold, silver, platinum, and palladium in-house.
