Schloss Guldengossa is the primary design element of countless Geiger Edelmetalle product lines. From the Geiger Original Series to these all-new Geiger Square Bars, the Baroque castle built in 1720 in Leipzig now serves as the corporate headquarters for Geiger Edelmetalle. In fact, the castle was the first registered business location for Geiger within Germany.
All of the 50 Gram Gold Geiger Square Bars offered to you in this product listing come with individual packaging. The assay card capsules house the gold bar and include an assay card around the bar itself within the packaging. The assay offers the name of the mint, nation of issue, weight, purity, and metal content of the bar. The cards are all signed by the certified assayer at Geiger Edelmetalle. Each bar is in brand-new condition from the mint.
The obverse of the 50 Gram Gold Geiger Square Bars comes with the image of Schloss Guldengossa at the center. The castle is famous in German history as a site that hosted such honored guests as Johann Sebastian Bach and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. This side of the bar has a pearl finish with a ribbed edge along the outer edge of the gold bars.
On the reverse side of 50 Gram Gold Geiger Square Bars is the LEV rhombus. This rhombus shape is featured on various products from Geiger Edelmetalle and repeats throughout the design element on this face of the bar. There is a unique serial number engraved on this face of the bar, and a blue UV security application on this side. When exposed to a blue light, an additional LEV rhombus is found at the center with a blue light coating over the serial number as well. These bars also have high-relief strikes, similar to bullion coins.
