The Roman Empire had a habit of enslaving thousands, if not millions, of people. Many of these men who had the ability to excel in hand-to-hand combat were pressed into academies where they honed those skills and fought in arenas to the death against other slaves, all for the amusement of Roman citizens.
MK Barz has a new series of silver bars featuring masks designs depicting the actual gear worn by some of Rome’s most famous gladiators. Among the many to be featured in this series of silver products you’ll find the mask of Carpophores, the most famous gladiator of Rome who did not fight against other men.
Each of these 6 oz MK Barz Silver Hand Poured Skull Warrior Masks features a hand-poured finish with hand-stamped engravings on the reverse. These silver bars ship inside of sealed plastic and features an individual serial number.
On the obverse of the 6 oz MK Barz Silver Hand Poured Skull Warrior Mask is the image of the mask worn by Carpophores. He was a famed Bestiarius, a gladiator who fought against beasts rather than other men. It is said that just one day of battles, he defeated 20 wild animals. His most famous feat was slaying a bear, lion, and leopard during the course of a single battle. Given the nature of his battles, gladiators like Carpophores lived unsurprisingly short lives.
The reverse side of all of the bars in the LTD Warrior Series is flat and features identifying markers. You’ll find the engraving of “MK Barz,” as well as the weight, metal content, and purity of the silver bar. Additionally, each has an individual serial number out of 500.
MK Barz was founded as a family-owned and operated refinery in 2014 in Los Angeles, California. The refinery is run by individuals with 45 years of experience grading and collecting silver coins.
