All Morgan Dollar Coins in this online listing will arrive to you in the highly desirable Old Fatty Holder. These slabs were used by NGC from 1987 until 1997 and are uniquely thick—hence the name. Using a scale of 1-70, NGC granted these coins a grade of MS65. Considering that they are over a century old, this is an exceptional score. The coins were originally struck at the US Mint and hold legal tender status under the monetary authority of the United States.

Lady Liberty is featured on the obverse of these Morgan Silver Coins. Using a school teacher named Anna Williams as a model, George T. Morgan crafted one of the most indelible coin portraits in the US Mint’s history. The effigy captures Lady Liberty in left-profile relief wearing a crown of wheat and a Phrygian cap. Inscriptions read E Pluribus Unum along with the year of release.

A bald eagle is found on the reverse of Morgan Silver Dollars. This heraldic motif was also created by George T. Morgan and includes the iconic arrows and olive branches in the bird’s talons. Inscriptions are also featured that read United States of America, In God We Trust, and One Dollar.

During the original run of Morgan Silver Dollars between 1878 and 1904, the coins were minted at Philadelphia, New Orleans, San Francisco, and Carson City. The Carson City Morgans have a special appeal among collectors and Old West enthusiasts since they were made from silver mined at the historic Comstock Lode in Nevada. There are also numerous “error” Morgan dollars that attract high premiums in the numismatic community.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
