Right now, Pre-33 $2.50 Liberty Gold Quarter Eagle Coins are available to purchase online at Silver.com with certification.

Each Pre-33 $2.50 Liberty Gold Quarter Eagle Coin in this listing at Silver.com earned a Mint State 61 certification. Coins in this condition exhibit diminished or noticeably impaired mint luster with clusters of large and small contact marks throughout. There are also scuff marks that may show as unattractive patches on or near the major features of the coin.

Silver.com cannot guarantee the date mark of the coin you receive in this listing. Pre-33 Liberty Gold Quarter Eagles were produced with this Liberty Head design from 1840 to 1907. This is the most popular and longest-running design of the four used in this series through 1933 when all US gold coin production was halted.

The obverse of Pre-33 $2.50 Liberty Gold Quarter Eagle Coins features the left-profile bust of Lady Liberty. This is the third design used in the series and debuted in 1840. It depicts Liberty wearing a crown with the word “Liberty” inscribed on it. There are 13 stars around her figure and a date mark at the center-bottom field.

On the reverse of Pre-33 Liberty Gold Quarter Eagle Coins is a version of the heraldic eagle of the United States. The eagle is set with its head looking left toward the olive branch of peace in its right talon while the left talon clutches the arrows of war. The inscriptions include “United States of America” and “2 1/2 D.”

All Pre-33 $2.50 Liberty Gold Quarter Eagle coins were produced during a period in which the US had stabilized gold fineness in its circulation gold coins at .900. All gold coins issued from 1837 to 1933 had .900 gold content.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
