Adolph A. Weinman, a student of the famous Augustus Saint-Gaudens, was the man behind the design of the Walking Liberty Half Dollar. Great American Mint GRAMMCO Brand Silver Rounds

The Prospector Silver Round pays homage to the role of California in the nation’s precious metal industry, both in the past and present. The obverse image features a lone prospector kneeling by a creek bed as he pans for gold. The reverse features a brown bear similar to the one found on the official state flag for California. The original coin bearing a similar image was created in 1925 to commemorate 75 years as a member of the Union, and this updated design was the creation of California sculptor Jo Mora.

Finally, there is the GRAMMCO silver round. This features the branding and logo of Great American Mint. On the obverse is the name of the mint, with the corporate logo featured in the middle. The reverse side of the silver round features the name GRAMMCO and the mint’s logo in a repeating image.
