Gold American Eagle BU coins have been a cherished tradition from the United States Mint since 1986. In that inaugural year, the Mint introduced various denominations, including 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/10 oz gold coins. Over the years, the 1 oz and 1/10 oz gold coins have captured the hearts of collectors. And now, you can add the 2024 1/10 oz Gold American Eagle Coins to your collection, all in perfect condition and available for purchase online at Silver.com.

Coin Highlights:

  • Each coin is protected within NGC plastic slabs!
  • These coins mark the 39th year of the Gold Eagle series!
  • The number of certified perfect coins is limited!
  • Consists of One-Tenth Troy ounce of actual gold content.
  • Issued with a face value of $5 (USD) by the United States.
  • Graded as Mint State 70 by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation.
  • They are considered Early Release coins.
  • The obverse side depicts the timeless Lady Liberty.
  • On the reverse side, you’ll find the majestic American bald eagle.

Throughout its history, the 1/10 oz Gold Eagle has been consistently available in the BU Series since its introduction in 1986. In contrast, the 1/10 oz Proof Gold Eagle made its debut in 1988 and has been available every year, except for 2009. The 1/10 oz Burnished Gold Eagle was only offered from 2006 to 2008.

Among all Gold American Eagles, BU Gold Eagles have the highest mintages. Although the 1 oz gold eagle has the highest number of date marks, the 1/10 oz gold eagle holds the single-year record with an astounding 2.75 million coins sold in 1999.

The obverse design of the 2024 1/10 oz Gold Eagle Coins showcases the iconic Lady Liberty. Crafted by Augustus Saint-Gaudens in 1907, this portrayal presents Lady Liberty in a front-facing relief, holding a torch and an olive branch.

On the reverse side of the 2024 Gold American Eagles, you’ll find the noble American bald eagle. This natural design was created in 2020 by Jennie Norris and was introduced on the coins in mid-2021 to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the series.

These 2024 1/10 oz Gold American Eagle Coins are in perfect condition, graded as Mint State 70. This means they exhibit full, original mint luster with no imperfections. These coins are also Early Release, indicating that they were submitted for grading at the PCGS within 30 days of their release by the US Mint.

We also never have access to your credit/debit card details, as they are securely communicated directly to the payment processor (Authorize.net) and never retained by Silver.com. For this reason, we also don't process credit/debit card orders over the phone, as it is the least secure way to process those transactions.

In addition, all VISA and MasterCard orders undergo an additional step of user authentication - the respective Verified by VISA or MasterCard SecureCode programs. Upon completing checkout with a VISA or MasterCard credit/debit card, you may be promoted for additional details to confirm your identity and protect our customers against credit card fraud.

Do you charge sales tax?

We are required to collect sales tax in certain states. You can review your states sales tax policy here: https://www.silver.com/taxes. You should always consult with a tax adviser for specific advice in your area.

Where does your spot price come from?

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
