The 1 oz SilverTowne Stackable Prospector Silver Rounds are available from Silver.com in brand new condition. The rounds contain .999 fine silver with a total weight of 1 troy ounce. Minted right here in the U.S.A at the SilverTowne Mint, these rounds contain a design that enables the rounds to be stacked up without falling.

When gold and other precious metals were discovered throughout the American and Canadian West during the latter half of the 19th century, thousands of individuals uprooted their lives in search of wealth and fame. These individuals, known as prospectors, risked their lives and those of their family members to move west in search of gold and silver. Prospectors had the nerve to follow a dream in the effort to create a better life. Today, SilverTowne remembers their contributions to society with the 1 oz SilverTowne Stackable Prospector Silver Round.

Round Highlights:

  • Contains 1 oz of .999 pure silver.
  • Minted at the SilverTowne Mint in the United States.
  • Design is stackable to make for easy storage.
  • Features a prospector design that is popular on SilverTowne products.

Like other silver rounds, the 1 oz SilverTowne Stackable Prospector Silver Round is not a currency coin. Silver rounds are produced outside the controls of the US Mint and are not certified as genuine currency. However, all silver rounds are produced with .999 pure silver, which makes them an excellent investment vehicle for those wishing to acquire physical silver bullion.

This SilverTowne Silver Round has a unique characteristic not found on rounds produced by other mints. The main design on the obverse side of each round is inset into the coin, creating a slight raised lip on the reverse side of the round. The interlocking nature of the rounds makes it easier for investors to stack the rounds in storage without fear that they will tumble to the floor and scatter everywhere.

Another unique feature of the 1 oz SilverTowne Stackable Prospector Silver Round is the singular design featured on the round. On both the obverse and reverse side of the coin, a lone prospector is seen walking along with a mule following behind. The forlorn prospector has a pickax slung over his left shoulder, while his right hand holds the rope that guides the mule behind him.

On the obverse side of the coin, the official logo of Silvertowne is engraved above the image of the prospector. The reverse side of the round features the engravings for the metal content, purity, and weight of the round below the image of the prospector.
