When it comes to investing in silver and gold bars, investors have many options. While most of the world’s private and sovereign mints have adopted modern production techniques, such as machine casting and laser engraving, there are mints with a greater interest in creating unique products that standout. Monarch Precious Metals uses traditional production methods to create silver bars unlike others in the market. Right now, the 100 oz Silver Monarch Hand Poured Loaf Bar is available on Silver.com.

All Monarch Precious Metals loaf bars share a number of commonalities that set them apart in the modern precious metals industry. While many mints cast and produce silver or gold bars with mirrored finishes, intricate designs, and sharp edges, Monarch followed a different path in the production of its bars.
Monarch bars are produced using traditional hand-poured techniques. This gives each bar a rough, matte finish with imperfect edges and a rustic appearance that garners attention from collectors who care both about purity of the bar and the beauty of its finish. A bar doesn’t have to have an intricate finish to be a beautiful product.
On the obverse side of each 100 oz Silver Monarch Hand Poured Loaf bar you’ll find markings arranged from left to right horizontally across the bar. On the left is the metal content and purity of the bar. The far right features the weight of the bar in troy ounces.
In the center of the design is the Monarch Precious Metals corporate logo. The mint used the first three letters from its name, “MPM” to form a crown shape. That crown is encircled by the full mint name, with “Monarch Precious” above in an arch shape and “Metals” below in a straight line.
Monarch Precious Metals was founded in 2008 in southern Oregon’s Rogue Valley. All products from the mint are struck using hand-poured techniques and at least .999 purity for both gold and silver.
