100 ounce bars of silver are among the largest sizes readily available to investors online today and are also produced by an impressive quantity of private mints and refineries. The 100 oz RCM silver bar, however, is much different than your typical 100 oz silver bar due to its quality and the mint which it is produced at.

Bar Highlights:

  • Contains 100 oz of .9999 fine silver.
  • Minted at the Royal Canadian Mint in Canada.
  • Design features the RCM logo.
  • All bars come in new condition.
  • Ship in individual plastic flips.

Most silver bars produced today are minted at privately owned refineries or mints. This is just one of the many factors separating RCM’s bars from their competition. These particular bars each have been produced by Canada’s national mint; the Royal Canadian Mint. Another distinguishing factor these bars hold is that they have been struck in .9999 fine silver as opposed to most others which contain only .999. Though the extra one-millionth percent of purity may not seem like much, it is just an indicator as to the standards the mint holds its products up to.

The design of the 100 oz RCM silver bar is simple and to the point yet aesthetically appealing. The front side of the bar features the RCM mint mark along with the bars weight and purity. Also featured on the front side of the bar is a serial number unique to the bar which has been issued by the RCM. This serial number can be verified with the Royal Canadian Mint in an effort to assure yourself of the authenticity of the metal.

The Royal Canadian Mint was first founded in the early 1900s as a way of producing Canada’s currency. In the early years, the RCM was founded and operated by the Royal Mint of England. Before the first RCM facility was founded in Ottawa, Canada’s coins were produced in the UK and then shipped across the sea. Looking for a faster way to get Canada the coins it needed, the Royal Mint created a facility in Canada.

While RCM was under the jurisdiction of the UK, ownership was eventually handed over to the Canadian government. Nowadays RCM has expanded to two facilities and is in charge of producing much more than solely Canada’s currency. Apart from bullion bars and Canadian currency, RCM also produces one of the worlds most popular bullion coins; the silver Canadian Maple Leaf and is in charge of the production of many other countries’ currencies as well.

When you purchase a 100 oz RCM silver bar from Silver.com, it will be speedily and discreetly shipped to your door. Your bar will be packaged safely and securely in an effort to protect the metal against the often rough shipping process. We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
