Palladium is a precious metal that, until the 2010s, was largely used for industrial and commercial purposes around the globe. As much as 90% of the supply chain of palladium is believed to go to the production of catalytic converters for automobiles, electronics equipment, dentistry tools, and jewelry. Now, 1/10 oz Palladium Rounds are available to you for purchase online at Silver.com.

Round Highlights:

  • Round ships to you inside of individual plastic flips!
  • Offered in varied conditions from any mint!
  • Consists of One-Tenth Troy ounce of .9995 fine palladium.
  • The obverse and reverse designs vary by mint.
  • Please keep in mind you could receive several matching rounds if you purchase more than one.

Palladium is one of the rarest metals in the world. Only four major deposits of palladium are known to exist in the world. The largest of them is, by far, the Bushveld Complex in the Transvaal Basin of south Africa. North America is home to the Stillwater Complex in Montana, USA, and the Sudbury Basin and Thunder Bay District in Canada. Russia’s Norilsk Complex is the other known deposit.

The other major source of palladium available in the modern era is recycling. While the vast majority comes from scrapped catalytic converters in automobiles, palladium is also recycled from jewelry and electronics.

Obverse and reverse design elements on these 1/10 oz Palladium Rounds vary based on the issuing mint and the particular design program. One such example is the 1/10 oz Lewis & Clark Palladium Round. Issued by Johnson Matthey and the Stillwater Mining Company, these rounds were produced only in 2004 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Lewis & Clark Expedition to chart the lands acquired by the United States in the Louisiana Purchase. In addition to the 1/10 oz round, the series offered 1 oz and 1/2 oz palladium rounds as well. This particular series of palladium rounds was unique in that Stillwater Mining guaranteed the palladium used in the production of the rounds came from the Stillwater Complex in the United States.

These 1/10 oz Palladium Rounds are available to you today in varied conditions from any mint. The rounds will most likely ship in a protective flip, though we will use the original packaging if it is available for a particular product. We cannot hand-pick specific designs or mints of origin. We are also unable to guarantee the condition of a particular round.

Conditions for the rounds in this listing range from brand-new to those with varying degrees of wear and tear present. If you purchase more than one round, please keep in mind that you could receive several matching items.

We also never have access to your credit/debit card details, as they are securely communicated directly to the payment processor (Authorize.net) and never retained by Silver.com. For this reason, we also don't process credit/debit card orders over the phone, as it is the least secure way to process those transactions.

Do you charge sales tax?

We are required to collect sales tax in certain states. You can review your states sales tax policy here: https://www.silver.com/taxes. You should always consult with a tax adviser for specific advice in your area.

Where does your spot price come from?

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
