Wall Street Mint silver bars have come with various design issues over the past two decades. While these new 1 Kilo bars offer a modern revision of the iconic bars, there is one element that has been retained from historic issues of the bars. That holdover design is that of the New York City skyline as it towers over the Wall Street district in Lower Manhattan.
On the obverse side of 1 Kilo Silver Wall Street Mint Bars is a depiction of the skyline from New York City. In particular, the design captures the skyline along Wall Street, an eight-block section in the Financial District of New York. The most prominent building in the skyline in this portion of the city is 40 Wall Street. The building was erected in 1929-1930 and when finished was the tallest building in the world. 40 Wall Street was originally known as the Bank of Manhattan Trust Building and is constructed with a façade of limestone on the lower levels and buff-brick on the upper floors. This side of the bar also comes with a diamond symbol at the bottom above the unique serial number.
The reverse face of 1 Kilo Wall Street Mint Bars is blank. This side has been left blank on purpose. However, you may notice natural textures such as striations and other lines that result from the silver cooling and settling during production.
