Right now, 1 oz Copper SilverTowne Indian Replica Rounds are available to purchase online at Silver.com.

James Earle Fraser was commissioned to complete the artwork for the redesign of the US nickel in the 1910s. He completed his design for what would become known as the Buffalo Nickel in 1913 and it was approved during the administration of President William Howard Taft. The Buffalo Nickel redesign was completed after the 1909 redesign of the US penny and before the 1916 redesign of the dime, quarter, and half dollar, completing the redesign of all small denomination US currency.

The obverse side of these 1 oz Copper SilverTowne Indian Replica Rounds comes with the image of a stoic indigenous figure. This right-profile depiction captures an individual with braided hair and the word “Liberty” inscribed off the nose of the individual along the edge of the design field.

On the reverse of 1 oz Copper SilverTowne Indian Replica Rounds, you will find the common design element used by SilverTowne on its new range of US coin design copper rounds. Here, an American bald eagle is featured with its wings flexed in flight and its talons outstretched ready to either catch a branch or capture its prey. The letters “USA” are inscribed in large font on this face of the copper rounds.
