In the initial Silverbug series, there were three different round designs introduced that merely celebrated the Silverbug community. This all-new series will consist of eight new designs in total, with each focusing on the theme of Finding Silverbug Island.
On the obverse of each round is the pirate-themed design that will feature heavily in Finding Silverbug Island rounds. With a compass dominating the background and its cloudy skies, a pirate ship sails into view with “In Silver We Trust” engraved on the sails. A small island is featured in the foreground with a large, open treasure chest resting next to an X on the ground.
The reverse of all 1 oz Silver Finding Silverbug Island Rounds features a pirate ship without sails that has come to rest on an island of coins. Above it is the phrase “Welcome to Silverbug Island,” and the weight, purity, and metal content of the round are featured below.
