All other rounds in the series have an even lower figure of just 250 rounds. These mintages are applied to all six designs available in this collection.
All of the 1 oz Proof Silver Lisa Parker Collection Apache Rounds in this listing come to you with an individual plastic capsule. The rounds have distinct serial numbers etched on the edges and that same number is found on the included Certificate of Authenticity. These proof silver rounds have frosted design elements that overlay mirrored backgrounds.
The obverse of 1 oz Proof Silver Apache Rounds includes a design with two horses in a natural setting. The background includes a mountain peak dotted by trees with prairie grass visible in the foreground near the horses. The adult horse in the pairing has mystical elements indigenous warriors would use to decorate their horses before battle. Feathers are woven into its mane and the two zig-zag lines on the horse’s body are a nod to the gods of war.
On the reverse of 1 oz Proof Silver Lisa Parker Collection Apache Rounds is the image of a wolf’s head in front-facing relief. This is one of Parker’s greatest works and is known as Wild One. The wolf is backed by a five-pointed star with curved, barren trees in the background as well.
The Anonymous Mint’s Julie Lindquist selected the designs for the Lisa Parker Collection. Dies for each of the six designs were hand-sculpted by Italian Master Sculptor Luigi Badia and the rounds were struck by the Osborne Mint, America’s oldest private mint.
