The obverse side of 1884-CC Silver Morgan Dollar Coins comes with an image of Lady Liberty in left-profile relief. The design was created in 1878 by George T. Morgan and shows Liberty with a Phrygian cap, coronet crown, and a laurel wreath. The design field includes 13 stars along the bottom of the design element.

On the reverse field of the 1884-CC Silver Morgan Dollars is a design of the heraldic eagle of the United States. This design also comes from George T. Morgan and shows a front-facing bald eagle with wings spread and talons clutching the arrows of war and the olive branch of peace.
